In my newest work I am creating miniature scenes populated by tiny figurines. These figures loiter, journey, explore, labor, wait, and have unexpected encounters with one another. Architects and city planners use figurines like these when envisioning new idealized spaces. My arrangements are designed to provoke a broader and often darker range of associations. Viewers are invited to reconsider the psychology of space and its influence on identity and behavior.
